
Trans-Nationwide Express Plc has announced the resignation of its Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Eric Emecheta, who stepped down from the company’s Board effective July 30, 2025. The Board has accepted his resignation and expressed gratitude for his service and leadership during his tenure, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
Following this change, the company has appointed Mrs. Oluwatosin Ogbemi as the Acting Managing Director/CEO, effective September 16, 2025.
Oluwatosin, a graduate of Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos, brings a wealth of cross-sector experience to the role. Over the years, she has overseen key areas of the business, including Corporate Services, Operations, and Business Development, while working alongside the former Managing Director to provide strategic leadership.
She has also attended several executive development programs, including The Role of Non-Executive Directors at the Institute of Directors (IOD) in 2013, the Senior Management Programme (SMP 78, 2021) at Lagos Business School (LBS), and is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at LBS. In addition, she is a chartered member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
